Description
A Lumbar Puncture Set in a wooden box is illustrated. Two spinal needles stopcocks and a water column manometer are also included in this set. A Lumbar Puncture (spinal tap) is a medical procedure in which a healthcare provider inserts a thin needle into the lower spine to collect cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) or inject medicine. It is primarily used to diagnose serious central nervous system infections (like meningitis), inflammatory diseases (like multiple sclerosis), and cancers. The glass column was used to measure spinal column and cerebral pressure.
