Description
The case illustrated houses a unique invention of the Singer Sewing company for sewing or suturing skin incisions. This leather case with velvet lining contains a stitching instrument handle with cotton reel attachment, 4 needles, a cleaner, and 3 cotton reels. Presented in original card box, the instrument was in use during WWII field hospitals.
