Description
This type of folding medication case was frequently used to organize and protect commonly administered pharmaceutical agents within the physician’s “house call” bag. From the early 18th to mid-20th century, physicians typically always carried their bags with them at all times. They could provide initial medication for their patients at home or office visits, depending on the diagnosis. Dr. Joseph Isley, a Lee County Radiologist, donated this artifact.
