The 4^th shelf features a tribute to Dr. Fenning with a brief biography of his most notable professional accomplishments as a Fort Myers based Orthopedic Surgeon. Just to the right is a mounted model of one of Dr. Fenning’s innovative knee prostheses. It illustrates his threaded inclusion for the lower half of the prosthesis—the fixed bearing Tibia base. Immediately right is Dr. Fenning’s hip replacement system that includes his Poly-plastic white cap that articulates with the head of this gold hip prosthesis. Next a brochure for one of Dr. Fenning’s many patented hip innovations is displayed alongside a story board featuring some fascinating statistics for hip and knee replacement from 2019. Another donated Zimmer model of a fully articulated hip prosthesis completes the artifacts for the 4^th shelf.
