Description
This display houses a variety of WWII-era Medic Field instrument sets, packaged dressings, and supplies for emergency and battlefield treatment ranging from first aid to minor surgical interventions. Additionally, an authentic Purple Heart (military decoration for battle-related injury) is displayed Hopkins Hospital, first for his assistant and later for all O.R. personnel.
