more »This elegant Physician's Bag appears to be Alligator hide; however, it is genuine cowhide, with leather handles, manufactured by the Upjohn Company. It was donated to the Museum as part of the Dr. Roger D. Scott Collection in 2007. It is displayed alone near the Curator’s door plaque.
